A Short Story; Shakespeare’s Cigar History

Shakespeare's Cigar Company was created in January of 2002, and incorporated in February of 2003, by Robert "Shakey" Shakespeare and his son, Scott Shakespeare, to represent a new beginning for a Father and his son. "I saw my dad diminishing in some of his physical abilities... I saw him getting old, and I didn’t want him to get old from boredom, or any physical inactivity that could be avoided". "My dad’s mind is still sharp as a tack. Shakey’s favorite pastime for decades has been his passion for smoking quality premium cigars". 

Together, the Shakespeare's began learning the industries that surround the cigar marketplace from the tobacco leaf to the store shelf. The education and experience gained from the time spent lead to the same conclusion as from their beginnings. "Since we can’t seem to find the quality smoke that we both envisioned, why don’t blend it ourselves?" They knew it would be hard work, and a great expense, but they had now gained years of knowledge pertaining to the markets, established incredible strategic relationships, share in the heritage of their built-in household brand name of Shakespeare, and they knew the quality of blended tobacco's they sought. They began blending different tobaccos, searching new sources, until they created, with the help of their new friends, their "perfect cigar", a cigar that they would smoke with pride, and stand behind. They now had the understanding, and the pieces that are needed for consistent, high quality manufacturing. With the conviction of their beliefs they produced a new brand and blend, representing only the best in any individuals smoking experience, a "Perfect Demographic Cigar". A cigar that all would find enjoyable no matter what they regularly smoked, made from the highest quality tobaccos, a totally hand-rolled, premium cigar, The Shakespeare Signature Series Cigar, the beginning of a long line of beautifully blended cigars to come.
